First things, first ... we'd like to thanks all the Warmageddon fans that went out and voted for Gunplay. Jorge and Dominic put together a great project and they very much deserve all the votes they received. Oh yeah... they won, so congrats to Jorge and Dominic and keep an eye out for Gunplay. Of course, that means there will be no more Warmageddon art from Dominic in the near future, but that's okay as we're all happy to for Dominic because he's such a great guy.
Enough talk about Gunplay, let's get to the next topic which is ...
Join Jamal "Warmageddon" Walton, Dominic "The artist formerly drawing Tiegre" Vivono, Mike "Fist of Justice" Imboden and the Boys (Ken Haesar and Buz Hasson of "The Living Corpse") at tables 30-32. There you will find goodies from The Living Corpse, Fist of Justice and, of course, WARMAGEDDON!!!
At Baltimore, there will be a fair amount of new prints and a display of all the most recent Warmageddon projects. Below are just a sampling of the new artwork from the next season of Eirian and Orumil.

WOW!!! IT's been a while since we last gave you an update. Sometimes that means there isn't much going on, but not this TIME!!!! There are lots of little Warmageddon proejcts going on, so many that head honcho Jámal is having problems keeping.
First up is Jámal's upcoming trip to Baltimore Comic-Con. The Comic-Con is Saturday Sept 8 - Sunday Sept 9. Jámal and Warmageddon will be located at the roup of tables alongside Mike Imboden, those Corspe guys and those High Noon guys. Come on out, pick up some Warmageddon swag from Jámal, and check out all the other guests.
As everyone knows, Jámal loves to have new swag for each convention. The new swag for this con includes RETRO STYLED COVERS PRINTS. These prints take the 4 covers drawn by Shane White and placing them within a new (yet familiar) context. Each of the 4 retor cover is based on a distinct old school cover design. These 11 x 17 prints are a must have for old school comic book fans.
Last but not least, Jámal in conjunction with artist extraordinaire, Steve Musgrave, are working on a series of 3-tier full color strips featuring Thomas, Carl, and Katherine from the now classic Legacy story. The tentative plan is to release 1 new strip every 2 weeks starting this winter. Jámal will be offering a sneak peek of this and other future Warmageddon projects for all those that visit him in Baltimore.
Stop by on Wednesday when we announce the Warmageddon return of an old friend.

WOW! The last time we had a new post here was almost a month ago right before the Pittsburgh Comicon. Pittsburgh is always a nice con where the Warmageddon crew is able to get together, hang out and make huge plans to take over the world. Pittsburgh was great for the Warmageddon crew as we found some new talent, touched base with some old friends, and the sketch card below from Dominic Vivona. As everyone knows Dominic is the artist for the Tiegre comic pages in Warmageddon Quarterly. He's a great artist who we are happy to have on the Warmageddon crew and we are happy to have at a Warmageddon table at any convention.
Now that we are back from Pittsburgh, we are going to take some time to focus on Warmageddon. Our next and last convention of this year is the Baltimore Comicon in September. However, you can ALWAYS purchase Warmageddon products in our online store at any time of the year. In fact, we just added some NEW products to the store. These new products are the following prints by Dominic., Chad Hardin and Cal Slayton:

We're back from last weekend in Baltimore and now it's time for the ...
STATE OF THE COMICS ADDRESS!
While in Baltimore, Jamal discovered a new talent that we just had to have. Actually, he discovered us. He walked up to the Warmageddon table and showed me his portfolio. The portfolio consisted mainly of a western story, but just looking at the samples we knew that that was the style that we wanted for Tiegre.
The bottom line is we told him we needed a 14 paged script drawn before the end of the month and that if he could do it, he would be the Tiegre artist. As of today, we have 2 pages of the story completed. Below is panel 3 from page 1. The artist is Dominic Vivona of High Noon Presents.
With Dominic working on the Tiegre story that frees Jamal from inking it which means he can get back to coloring the cover. When he last left the cover, he had flatted Tiegre and colored the sword. Now Jamal has flatted the entire image and finished coloring Tiegre, colored the girls' hair, and began laying out the colors for Kiara's skin.
We're really happy with the colors on the cover thus far and this issue is well on it's way to being complete soon. Sooooo .... let's take a look at future Warmageddon stories.
Caio is working hard on an Asar story. We have 12 finished pencilled pages and pages 13-18 in layouts. Below are the layouts to pages 17&18.
While typing this blog Caio sent in a low resolution version of the pencils for page 13 in pencils and MAN, they are sweet. Maybe, just maybe, we'll show them next week. Now it's really time to find an inker for his pencils.
Speaking of i nkers, I need to find one for Stephen Molnar as well. He has just sent me the final round of layouts for the Glod story. It's a 10 page story which gives us yet more insight into the mysterious hooded figure (THF).
Molnar is on board for at least 2 stories and hopefully, we can rope him into doing something else. because his work is great ... in fact, I have just the right story for him.
